Your brain images can be put into pictures – Scientists
by anoop
Ok when you read this, it could sound like science fiction and I don’t know how far this is true because it seems quite impossible but with the technological and medical advances being made today, this could very well be true. Scientists have modeled how images are represented in the brain and then had them translated into pictures of what test subjects have seen. There goes the privacy! To construct this model, the researchers used and fMRI machine which measures blood flow through the brain, to track neural activity in three people as they looked at pictures of everyday settings and objects. The researchers then looked into the regions on whose activity correlates with general classifications such as a building or a group of people. Well if this goes on good, we all soon be carrying printers and taking prints of all what we have seen and recorded by our brain. Nice!
