Yelp Help comes to BMW Online

BMW has recently announced that it has added the Yelp Help service to its concierge electronics suite better known as BMW Online. BMW customers with the Assist Convenience Plan, a navigation screen on the dashboard, and a BMW Online subscription can add this new app immediately which will open Yelp’s popular data base of ratings for any imaginable service such as restaurants, parking garages, barber shops and other things for them.

Using BMW’s text-to-speech capability, the Yelp posts can actually be read out loud through the car’s stereo system. It will also sort search results by category, distance and even star ratings. BMW says that Yelp is just the tip of the iceberg at the moment and it will soon unleash other apps in near future.
