Yahoo launches a thirst quenching drink in Japan
Multi-national companies have known to adapt to unconventional methods when it comes to promotions and product launches in the land of the rising sun and yesteryears Internet giant Yahoo is no exception to this. It will be launching a drink (something on the lines of Pocari Sweat and Gatorade) to promote its newly launched web services – weather, disasters and a revamped travel section. The icons of the services are printed on the bottle label along with details of a contest where users stand a chance to win travel packages, digital cameras and other prizes worth 5,000,000 Yen in all.
