Worlds most expensive CD sells for $100,000
Japan may be one of the front runners in those hit hardest by the economic downturn but this is not stopping companies in introducing ridiculously expensive products like an audio CD which can get you a condo in Florida. The CD went on sale at the Takashimaya department store at Nihonbashi for a cool 10,000,000 Yen ($ 100,000). The high price is because the CD comes in a platinum case which is studded with around 2 carats of diamonds. The same CD is available for $20 without the platinum case.
