Off-late we have started to associate the name Kit Kat with our smartphones thanks to Google and Android but should we forget the scrumptious crispy chocolate. But the fingered-chocolate is more famous in Japan where it is sold in a slew of unique flavors which isn’t available anywhere else; rest of the world has to manage with just the normal and the dark chocolate flavored Kit Kat. There are more than 15 different flavors of Kit Kat available in Japan and some more exclusive special flavors. Just to make them all easily available under one roof for the fans, the confectionary brand is opening up an exclusive store for all kind of Kit Kats in Japan for the first time.

The store has been named the ‘Kit Kat Chocolatory’ and will be located at Seibu Department Store in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro. The store will open its doors on the 17th of January and will offer special Kit Kats that are aimed at adult tastebuds and suit each season including flavors like Sublime Bitter, made with couverture; Special Cherry Blossom Green Tea, with extracts from cherry blossoms; and Special Chili with chili pepper cream. Kit Kat teamed up with sweet shop Le Patissier Takagi to open the store, which will be overseen by pastry chef Yasumasa Takagai.
