Windows gets Skype 5.5

There are a substantial number of Skype users who communicate with their near and dear ones on Windows platforms. Now, there’s a reason for them to celebrate as the famous chat software will be a lot better, thanks to a version 5.5 upgrade. The goodies include improved video and group calling, a few design tweaks, a promise of fewer dropped calls and new Skype emoticons. So, you are bound to benefit in the bargain as your favorite chat client also makes good of your favorite social network, in recent times.

Skype 5.5 is available as a free download for Windows. So make haste else, you never know, a newer version may overtake this one.
