Windows 7 Service Pack 1 may arrive Jan 15!

Well, we love leaks, but when we know that someone’s getting their hinds whacked for it, there’s also a bit of sympathy that we feel. Like for Microsoft Russia Services emplyee, Alex Kibkalo, there couldn’t be a braver move than publishing a blog entry stating that the company made an internal announcement that the pack was ready and all set to roll out to OEMs on Saturday, that is tomorrow, January 15th. However, the only dark fear lingering is that this is unlikely since Microsoft have never had weekend bonazas in this genre. Will this be the first? There are some major bug fixes in line as well.

What supports the claim is the fact that a Windows leak site called Wzor mentioned something along the similar lines.
