Weather-Forecasting Umbrella from Ambient predicts……rain

I’m sure all of us can look out of the window or watch the morning weather forecast news to decide if we need to carry our rain gears along. But here’s a techie umbrella to update you of the day’s weather from Ambient – The Weather-Forecasting Umbrella. Shown off during CES last week, the Forecasting Umbrella’s handle lights up blue when there’s a good chance of rain. It is connected to Ambient’s proprietary network which allows it to know where it is and then download the local weather report. Head out for a stroll without any worries!

For $125, no other umbrella can warn you as well as protect you from the showers at the same time.
