Wearable Health Monitoring sensor
by Gareth Mankoo
With the advances in modern healthcare facilities, this was soon coming, especially with the hardcore research done by Wearable Information Networks (WIN) and other companies. We have the Wearable Human Recorder that has gone on sale in the Japanese market. It can measure various parameters such as electrocardiographic signals, heart rate, brain waves, accelerated velocity, body temperature, respiration, pulse wave and a lot more. WIN has released a system called the HRS-1 that measures various conditions of the body. Along with body temperature and electrocardiographic signals, it also detects human movements using a 3 axis acceleration sensor.
It is expected to cost about $111 per month, merely for the rental of the software. There are high expectations on the sales of these devices despite the costs.
