Warner Brother Introduces iOS App for Online Movie Purchases

by ruchi

Movie buffs are up for a treat with the launch of ‘App editions’ of some kickass Warner Brothers’ movies. Just like the fate of most apps in the market, even this one is an ‘i’ patron and will offer downloadable and streaming versions of films with extra frills of expanded content. The first two offerings here are The Dark Knight and The Inception. You will first give a free 5 minute preview of the money post which you got to pay $9.99 and $11.99 respectively to see the rest. The app is available for free and packs in some bonus add-ons like trivia, soundtracks and soundboards.

The app will work great with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, and also offers subtitles in a host of languages. There is a social networking widget here that allows the user to interact with Facebook and Twitter. Warner Brother sees this application to be of great utility in regions where Apple isn’t yet offering iTunes Movie Stores. With the reach of quality pirated content getting deeper each day, let us see how successful this one proves to be.
