Versace to design Airplane interiors

by Dhiram Shah

Gianni Versace SpA and TAG Group SA announced plans to collaborate on the design and manufacturing of exclusive interiors for jets including the Bombardier Global Express and the Boeing BBJ. TAG group will be handling all the logistical and technical aspects. Private clients will be working with Versace designers to personalize their jet interiors with pieces from the Versace Home lines. The above image shows an entirely black-and-white cabin, with white leather chairs and a long white sofa, black carpeting and shag accent pillows. Versace claims to be the first fashion house to launch a complete home collection and the first to open a branded hotel. The next Palazzo Versace is planned for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, with a tentative opening date of 2008.

Dont be surprised to find the price of customization more than the Jet itself.
