Verbatim introduces 2.5-inch SSD, aluminum-encased SSDs

Verbatim has given a new, fresh entry to their SSD drive line of 2.5-inch devices. Speed will be one of the main features to sell these amazing aluminum-cased outer body devices. With the amazing SATA II 3.0 Gbps interface to make the most of transfer speeds ranging from 250 Mbps to 220 Mbps, for reading and writing, respectively. The new devices will be available as 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities. The aluminum outer casing will ensure that your drives are solid and durable and can take any kind of harsh treatment that you could possibly put these devices through.

The brand new 2.5-inch Verbatim drives are only for European data-meisters. They are priced at $185 for 64GB, $342 for 128GB and $675 for 256GB.
