Ubuntu now compatible with multi-core Android devices

by Gavril Mankoo

In the near future, your smartphone could indeed probably be the only computing device you’d need, at home, and on the go. Ubuntu now runs on multi-core Android devices and you can now use your handset for a full-fledged desktop experience, by docking your smartphone and hooking it up to a keyboard and display! The customized Ubuntu version is compatible with Android devices, and together, the two operating systems share data and run simultaneously! Also, the brains behind it all, Canonical has stated that any multi-core Android device with HDMI and USB connections can double up as the brains for a desktop experience once docked with Ubuntu and will show it all off at the MWC next week.
