Trading cards have matured to be all geeky and cool
by Gareth MankooThe classic cardboard trading cards don’t seem to be serving their purpose alright. Panini, a company known for their cards and stickers has decided to take trading cards and add video to them. Called Highlight Reel Xperience (HRX), this technology is set to change the good olds and make trading a bigger business. Recom partnered with Panini in this effort, offering their expertise in the video front of the business. The border of the video portion will still be made from card paper and will have HD quality written on them.
The cards will be of up to 2GB in capacity. You can obtain these by buying a pack of 5 regular cards for $20 and gaining a redeemable voucher that will count you as eligible to own the video cards.
