Toshiba’s Automotive system keeps your eyes on the road
We all feared the time when we would have to counter bots or computers that would tell us what is right and what is wrong. Sadly, to make our lives better and drives safer, this cool system by Toshiba does just that. It’s got a camera mounted on the top of the steering wheel which notifies the driver if his eyes are on the wrong side of the road. In simpler words, the camera detects where your eyes are looking at and compares it with the scenario of obstacles that withstand your way. To save yourself from the wrath of the system you need to keep your eyes focused on the center of the car. Eight typical regions in a drivers view are picked for reference and according mapped with a yellow rectangle.
If that didn’t impress you much, then how about this same system functioning flawlessly with the driver having a mask on? Yes, that’s what Toshiba are working on.
