Personal audio is getting more customized and interesting. Here are a couple of new launches that caught our ears:

‘Google Cast for audio’, is the search giant’s next step for their Chrome Cast system. This set up will allow users to seamlessly stream audio from compatible devices like smartphones, tablets or laptops, to speakers that have been designed with Google Cast compliance. The system will be usable on iOS and Android.

We’ve selected the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Moment simply because its innovation at using a system that makes oak Wood touch sensitive to be used as audio controls is quite intriguing. Although as audiophile technology goes, the player should also be way up there with the best, even if it ultimately does have a minor niggle.

Honorable mention – SMS has unveiled the latest editions to their Star Wars series of headphones which include R2-D2, Chewbacca, a TIE Fighter and Darth Vader. We just had to throw these in just because they’re so cool.
