T-Mobile G2 rumored to release this January
by mohsin
Mock-ups of a so-called T-Mobile G2 have already started appearing on the Internet, while the first Google Android Phone, may not have caused such fanfare as when the iPhone launched. There is no doubt that Google is already working on an improved version of Android, and so are other major companies. The news or availability about the handset is not confirmed by any of the parties i.e. Google, T-Mobile, or HTC. The G1, G2, G3 are trademarks of T-Mobile so, another carrier will have a different name. The T-Mobile G2 will have full touch screen without any QWERTY keyboard and Trackball will be present at the bottom, a 5 Megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, along with two-way video conferencing.
It seems like HTC Touch HD has the same specs and HTC is not releasing Touch HD in the US. So is it possible that the CES will show us the all-new HTC Touch HD with G2 as a badge? We can only wait and watch for now.
