TiVo Premiere Elite finally out
by Gareth MankooThe TiVo Premiere Elite has finally rolled out and is looking quite promising. This set-top box is the first and only retail DVR with a full four tuners, allowing users to record channels simultaneously, while viewing fifth channel. The setup is also available with a 2TB hard drive that allows you to record 200 hours of HD video, thus, never letting you down. Of course, this digital cable system will not allow you to use analog cables and the likes, but enhances your TV experience with TiVo’s “gold-standard,” user interface, Neflix, Pandora, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, and YouTube. It outputs HDMI, component video, composite video, optical audio, and analog audio in resolutions ranging from 480p to 1080p.
This Elite system will be available from Tivo.com and Magnolia stores for $500.
