The Sonic Chair captivates your auditory sensation

by Dhiram Shah

Turn your world inside out! Instead of perching those headsets on to your head……why don’t you get into those headsets? Before calling me wacky, take a look at this Sonic Chair and decide for yourself about the implication of the preceding judgment. The Sonic Chair literally lets you take a seat inside it. Shaped like an oversize headphone ear cup, this chair allows you to submerge in the symphony orchestras, rock concerts, or audio books as the precise arrangement of the integrated satellite speakers will provide maximum listening pleasure. The speakers are encased in a carefully crafted body that creates sufficient volume for powerful bass tones, while two body-focused sound generators, in the seat and the backrest, further augment the lower frequencies – recreating the feeling of a live performance. It also features different input jackets so that you can plug your iPod, laptop or video game console. Despite the open design, the sonic chair’s two-way acoustic insulation serves as a barrier between listeners and the world around them. So no worries about those meddlers!

You can customize it to your tastes by choosing from an array of colors and materials, including sueded microfiber, man-made leather, polyurethane coating and other fabrics. The pedestal is made of stainless steel and the seating ring can rotate up to 350 degrees. Now, if a critic has to read this then naturally a question will arise that why not 360 degrees? But I don’t care and feel that this is the ultimate product that a music fanatic can ask for. Pricing or availability of this digital audio furniture is yet unknown.
