The KegMate iPad app from yelp.com is just another weird way to use your iPad

by Shayne Rana

People have been using the iPad in all sorts of weird albeit handy ways for example there’s the iPad Sproket Pocket set up where you wear your iPad on your back and it can actually show the person behind you signals for stopping or turning. Well here’s another ‘interesting’ way that the Apple iPad has been put to use. Yelp.com has developed a new app called KegMate iPad. What it does is, using RFID tags, it monitors who is drinking from particular kegs. It can even tell you how much they’ve drunk and even allows them to rate the beer. Of all the weird iPad uses, I like this one best.
