The Breville Radio Toaster starts your day on a good note
Warm toast over as you catch on the morning headlines or even neighborhood goss – is that you’re kind of start to the day? Well, if it is, UK kitchen appliance manufacturer Breville has taken two of those kitchen favorites and merged them into one device – the Breville VTT296 2 Slice Radio Toaster. This one is sure to impress with its 1950s retro feel smooth lines, matt black/silver finish and silver circular speaker. The AM/FM digital display is the new-age touch, while the controls for the operation of the radio sit conveniently under the speaker, on either side of an illuminated digital display, and include dials and buttons for volume, scan, programming and graphic equalizer presets. The system can store up to ten radio station, and comes with an included antenna. You can also listen to music from an external MP3 player via an auxiliary input jack. The toaster delivers some impressive modern toasting innovations too with adjustable twin toasting slots, a variable browning control for dark/light adjustment, an extra high lift which ensures no burning fingers, a defrost button which automatically lengthens the toasting time for frozen slices and a reheat mode puts some warmth back into cooled toast without fear of it burning further.
