The Walking Dead-writer Robert Kirkman designs a zombie-survival Hyundai Elantra Coupe

by Gavril Mankoo

Looking for the perfect way to drive through a hoard of zombies without having a couple of them stuck to your grill or scraping at your windshield? “The Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman, the man behind all those crazy zombie stories, has come up with the ideal way to travel, in the event of a zombie apocalypse. In essence a Hyundai Elantra Coupe with a spiked cow-catcher front and sides that can be put to use to, well, splatter them living dead, this car also includes a CB radio, bright lighting to blind the menace and was designed by Kirkman himself for the Hyundai Zombie Survival Machine show.

Crafted into being meticulously by Design Craft, the car will show up at the Hyundai booth at Comic-Con International, giving paranoid zombie geeks the motivation to survive an apocalypse as such. Also, Kirkman will hand away a special edition Hyundai Elantra GT sporting a vinyl reminiscent of the cover from the “The Walking Dead” #100.
