TEAC introduced TN-300 turntable caters to analog as well as digital universe

by Gareth Mankoo

Though they constitute of only 2 percent of all music formats, vinyls seem to be breathing in a whole new draught of air. To further enhance the resurgence of the 12-inch disc we have the TEAC TN-300 turntable that enters the ring weighing 4.9 kilograms. The heavy plinth of the turntable manages to keep unwanted resonances to a minimum. A high-torque DC motor and Neoprene belt runs the die-cast aluminum platter with a rubber mat while a manual lifter and Audio Technica AT-95E moving magnet cartridge ensure anti-skating and tracking accuracy. What’s more s that the TEAC comes with Phono Equalizer, a phono stage that is built directly into it. This enables the TN-300 to be connected to any line input without needing an additional pre-amp. To top it up, you also get a USB port and T1 analog to digital converter to play your vinyl classics on modern players.
