Sprint’s LG Remarq made for recycled plastics

by Gareth Mankoo

Here’s something that totally doesn’t need an introduction for its purpose of existence. It’s all about keeping the green-heads happy with the use of 19% recycled plastic. 87% of the phone can be recycled when it’s trashed. To add to the greenness it also uses a low energy charger. The other features of the phone include a 1.3 megapixel camera, a media player, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, a speakerphone, QWERTY keypad and a slider form factor.

The LG Remarq will be available on May 9 for $20. This is after a two year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate.
