Soundbite Hearing Aid Gets FDA Clearance, Will be Available to Public Soon
Soundbite Hearing Aid has been given FDA clearance which means it’s not going to be light years for the use of this unique device to reach people. Unlike the present hearing-aid devices, the user has to wear this one around the ear and attach the other half of onto their teeth. The external device will pick up the sound waves and convey it to the mouthpiece that will then convert into vibrations which will be deciphered by the inner ear. The journey of this device since its inception to approval for mass production hasn’t exactly been smooth. It has been subjected to months of testing and now after the green signal from the FDA clearance, health professionals are really looking forward to its availability. Sonitus Medical are their makers, and details on pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
