Sony’s STR-DH710 7.1 channel Home Theatre A/V receiver is loaded for all your connectivity needs
Sony’s got a brand new 7.1 channel Home Theatre A/V receiver that’s due to hit the Japanese market in June. The sexy all black STR-DH710 is loaded with a total of 3 HDMI inputs as well as 3 components. Some of the other features this baby comes loaded with includes an ARC connector (Audio Return Channel) that’s designed to allow you audiophiles to use the same HDMI cable that use for audio and video output from your receiver for the TV audio output as well. There’s more, it even has 3D HDMI pass-through technology that will be able to transmit the audio input from the television with HDMI and with ARC correspondence. It even has S-AIR ready feature (for multi-room music experience). Now here’s something weird that the translation threw up is that this receiver – corresponds to “the brassiere beer link” of HDMI CEC. Interesting… The Sony STR-DH710 will be available for about 54,600 yen which works out to about $594 (USD).
