by Dhiram Shah

Nikkei weekly a Japanese publication was able to get their hands on the Sony XEL-1 the world’s slimmest OLED TV before its scheduled launched i.e. today (Dec 1st) . The TV is packed in an usually large box which when opened reveals another box, adopting Apple’s simplistic packing the inner box bears only ‘Sony’ and ‘OLED Digital TV XEL-1’ in Japanese. To match the slim TV its accessories are also super thin, the remote is a mere 10mm thick and the power adapter measures about 31mm in thickness. The XEL-1 comes with a remote control unit, a VHF/UHF coaxial antenna connection cable, an AC adapter, a cleaning cloth, a cover for the terminals on the back and an instruction manual.
