Sony Vaio T series – 10th anniversary model

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Bio Note 505 (1997), Sony has announced the Vaio T series which will be available in limited numbers, 505 to be precise. It borrows styling from the original T505 with the purple accent. “10th Anniversary Limited Edition” is laser etched on the the lower part of the display. The unit is powered by a Core 2 Duo U7600 processor at 1.2 Ghz and upto 2GB of RAM. You get the option of a standard magnetic hard drive or the zippier SSD drives. An Intel 945GMS Express delivers graphics on the 11.1 inch WXGA screen. Other features include high speed FOMA (EDGE on steroids), Felica for making wireless payments, Bluetooth 2.0 and a webcam. The laptop comes with a matching Bluetooth mouse and a leather case.


The Vaio T series is available for pre-order in Japan starting at 299,800 Yen ($ 2555).
