Sony unveils wireless headphones for PS3

by Gavril Mankoo

The most of us hate being tethered to a gaming console while playing, and Sony seems to understand just that. The company plans to launch a wireless headset built for the PS3, to allow for un-tethered hours of gaming. Equipped with 7.1 surround-sound and a USB dongle to create the Bluetooth connection, this one also sports a microphone for in-game communication. Also, the headphone uses oversized breathable earpads that keep your ears comfortable through your gaming hours. And with a price tag of $100, this one sure seems to be a fabulous way of listening to your game-sounds with incomparable clarity, free from wires.
