by Gavril Mankoo

Sony just set a standard for point-and-shoot cameras with the beautifully crafted Cyber-shot DSC-TX200V, a camera with a confusing name that you wouldn’t mind pulling out of your pocket to capture the world in still-life time and again. The camera sports an improved “Exmor R” CMOS sensor with a higher pixel count ranging up to 18.2MP with better low light image capture. Also, this one boasts a faster AF speed of a good 0.13 second in daylight and 0.25 seconds in low-light. Sticking to the slimmer and sleeker schools of design, this camera measures just 12.2 mm and comes with full HD video capture 5x wide-angle optical zoom lens and 10x digital “Clear Image Zoom”, making the DSC-TX200V a great tool for amateur shutterbugs.
