Sony showcases 0.3mm thick OLED display the damn thing is thinner than a Pringles chip
by Dhiram Shah
After the Sony XEL-1 the 3mm thick OLED display we thought that the size wars (thickness) were over. But Sony has beaten its own record by a huge margin as the company displayed a new OLED display which is just 0.3mm thick which is 1/10th the thickness of the XEL-1. Despite its slimness it delivers a resolution of 960×540 pixels. Technical details are not known for now and as for availability it should easily 2 – 3 years.
(Pics after the jump do more justice to this slimmie)
