Sony PSP Firmware 2.5 Upgrade Adds LocationFree TV and Other Goodness

Sony released a new system update for its super popular PlayStation Portable. Highlights of the new firmware 2.5 upgrade include: LocationFree Player (watch TV over WLAN or Internet), Internet server date/time sync, video DRM playback, and autofill browser history. Another nice perk, according to I4U, is that 2.5 has immunized itself from the PSPBrick Trojan program that made the all headlines last week. Also in the feature list is video DRM playback feature.
