Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 camera announced for $200
by ruchiThe Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 is among the newest additions to the Cyber-shot family and can be called as the close cousin of the Sony WX70 model. However DSC-WX50 comes under the affordable category owing to presence of a 2.7″ LCD display as against the 3” display used in DSC-WX50. Specs include Sony’s 16 Megapixel CMOS sensor, and a 25mm lens with a 5X optical zoom. The camera also boasts of “Clear Image Zoom,” a new digital zoom technology that produces sharper images as against the conventional digital zoom.
Besides it also has Sony’s “Extra High Sensitivity” technology which brings together higher sensor sensitivity and image processing algorithms to produce better low-light images. Like its other siblings, this one too will hit shelves in March in Silver and Black colors for $200.
