Sony BDZ-X90, BDZ-L70, BDZ-T70 and BDZ-T50 Blu-Ray recorders

Sony Japan has announced four new Blu-Ray recorders with HDD’s. The BDZ-X90, BDZ-T70, BDZ-T50 and BDZ-L70 record HD content onto BD-R discs at 4X speed. With two digital TV tuner it can record two different programs simultaneously on Blu-Ray and HDD. All models come with HDMI output with support for high speed dubbing and AVCHD. The low end BDZ-T50 comes with a single digital tuner and 250 GB hard drive whereas the BDZ-T70 and BDZ-L70 are equipped with dual digital tuners and 320GB hard drives. The top end BDZ-X90 comes with dual tuners and a mammoth 500GB hard drive.

Sony BDZ-X90, BDZ-L70, BDZ-T70 and BDZ-T50 will go on sale in Japan from November 8 for 200,000 Yen ($ 1750), 180,000 Yen ($ 1580), 160,000 Yen ($ 1400) and 140,000 Yen ($ 1230) respectively.
