Sony adds “live color creation” to Bravia LCD TV’s
Sony will be lauching six new additions to it’s Bravia line up on May 1st in order to boost sales ahead of the World Cup soccer tournament to be held in Germany. All models are capable of showing high-definition TV broadcasts with enhanced color reproduction functions. The upper-grade V2000 series comprises 32″, 40″, and 46-inch models will be equipped with Sony’s new “live color creation” technology to enhance green, red and other colors further increasing the picture quality. These models are expected to sell for about 280,000 yen, 380,000 yen and 490,000 yen in Japan.

The other three models, to be sold in the S2000 series, are also available with 32-, 40-, and 46-inch screen sizes. They will likely carry slightly lower price tags, at 250,000 yen ($ 2360), 350,000 yen ($ 2950) and 460,000 yen ($ 3880), respectively.
