The Sony Xperia X Premium HDR display phone leaks

The Xperia X Performance had people smitten with the 4K screen it brought with it. With the introduction of the Premium version of the Xperia X there is an even bigger frenzy and it spells H-D-R. Or so says a leak that we choose to vouch for. The phone will offer a 5.5-inch display at resolutions of 1080p. While this feature will offer surprising resolutions, it will also greatly aid in enhancing the brightness levels of delivered pictures. By delivering up to 1300 nits of brightness, the phone will leave the Samsung Galaxy S7’s display in the dust at 855 nits. Another great improvement will be the way colors are perceived and represented by the all-new display. The Premium’s screen will showcase 1.07 billion colors, replacing the typical 256 RGB color with 1024 color shades. It will also brag of a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Other specifications of the phone include a Snapdragon 820 CPU, Adreno 530 graphics, 3GB RAM and USB-C. HDR displays will soon take over the world of smartphones but the Xperia X Premium will most likely reign as the first of its kind.
