Smartphones of the future with PS3 level graphics?

Yes, there is a chance that we may be seeing some amazing graphics in phones of the future. Imagination Technologies, the same guys who make the famous PowerVR chip for iPhones, Droids and Palm Pre have stated that we may well see some obscenely awesome graphics in the phones of the future. There is a word that the chips of the future will have a lot more to do than they already have now. In fact there may be multi-core system processors that will offload the graphics processing from the main processors so as to free up main memory and processing power for usual applications.

Talking about phones with graphics as good as the PS3 is pretty much the same to me as talking about the PlayStation phone. Let’s see what happens first.
