Skyworth in China makes world’s first customizable TVs available online

This is what Chinese TV maker Skyworth has made possible with it customized Televisions. Skyworth has teamed up with online shopping site Tmall to officially launch a specialized e-commerce platform to deliver world’s first customizable TVs. Skyworth allows customers to order customized televisions online at relatively low prices. Everything from hardware and software to decorative features of the TVs can be customized and it takes about two weeks to assemble and deliver a customized television set.
The idea of customized TVs came from those factories that make knockoff products at lesser cost but receive very little attention from the industry. The concept of customized TVs is gaining momentum with about 2000 customize TVs already sold by Skyworth within two weeks. Besides the low price strategy, Skyworth plans to upgrade its TVs and improve its brand image for better market in the future.
