Skype officially adds GroupMe to its arsenal of services

Last month, Skype had announced that it will be acquiring the young mobile group messaging service called GroupMe or an undisclosed sum. They have finally let the cat out of the bag and the deal was frozen at $85 million which is not bad for a company that has been in business for less than two years. This is a crowning addition to the VoIP Company’s existing arsenal of communication tools and puts in direct competition with the Huddle feature of Google+ mobile app.
