SK Telecom uses artificial snow-clad sledding hill to promote 4G LTE services

by Gavril Mankoo

Korean carrier SK Telecom thought there to be no better way to show off the speeds of their 4G LTE services than a snow sled sliding its way down a snowy hillside. The carrier, one of the largest in Korea, installed a makeshift snow sledding hill at Haeundae beach in Busan, Korea. Part of the flagship promotional campaign for 4G LTE under the slogan of ‘Beyond the Reality, this artificial hillside measures 16m in length and 7.5 in breadth standing 2.6m high. Now this might just not be enough to send a slide down at some breath-taking speeds, though SK Telecom seems to have put their point across, describing the joy of speed just right.
