Sharp AQUOS SH-01D headed to NTT DOCOMO

by Gareth Mankoo

The Sharp AQUOS SH-01D is totally aqua-resistant and can be used in moisture-ridden areas, like bathrooms. Well, that’s an interesting thought for a phone that has been moderately hyped and packs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Among other cool features, we have a 4.5-inch LCD that shows 720p effortlessly, glassless 3D display, Eco-Tech for better battery life, a 12-megapixel camera, image stabilization, HD video, a dual-core OMAP 4430 processor, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a TV Tuner.

The phone has been through the FCC not too long ago. There’s not word of the pricing. It will go on sale on NTT DOCOMO from December 2.
