Sharp 801SH with VGA res display
Japan’s NTT DoCoMo had announced that it’s mobile networks will now be compatible with international networks so when you visit Tokyo next time you can use your existing cell phone and vice versa. So how does this benefit us we can use a majority of their cell phones as they will be GSM compatible but after a few Japanese lessons. Presenting the Sharp 801SH compatible with W-CDMA and GSM networks. The clamshell features a 2.4 inch display which supports VGA resolution 480 x 640 and is capable of displaying 262k colors. Other features include Bluetooth, Micro SD card slot (upto 1 GB), Music player, Dual 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, xHTML browser and video conferencing. The 801SH features a dedicated key to access Yahoo Japan’s mobile services. You can safe guard your address book and other sensitive data using Hollywood style face recognition in which the phone will grant access after you verify yourself using the camera.
The Sharp 801SH measures 50×100×21mm and weighs 17 grams and will be available in six colors in Japan.
