SHAPE Services announces IM+ for Skype for iPhone

Those with the iPhone have another reason to feel happy, SHAPE Services has announced IM+ for Skype for iPhone; the Safari web application for accessing Skype ecosystem from the mobile. The free version is available for a limited period to the iPhone users. All the user needs to do is log onto using the iPhone’s Safari web browser and talk with their Skype contacts or call any landlines and mobiles in a “cost-efficient way”. It works in any network and doesn’t require WiFi. The IM+ for Skype uses SkypeOut credits for voice communication and those who use Skype Unlimited and Skype Pro plans, IM+ permist almost free calling from the mobile device to any PC with Skype or any landline/mobile number.

BlackBerry RIM, Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Palm OS, Symbian and J2ME devices already feature IM+ for Skype.
