Sanyo DMX-CG65 Xacti 2.0

Sanyo has announced the next version of pocket digicams with the Xacti 2.0 or DMX-CG65. One of the major improvements is the support for H.264 format and 18MB of internal memory. Other features like 6 Megapixel CCD sensor, 5X optical zoom, 2.5 inch screen and VGA recording at 30 FPS (3 MBps). The DMX-CG65 can support SDHC cards upto 8GB and comes with a brand new image processing engine. The battery has enough juice for 70 minutes of video recording, 200 minutes of playback and 155 snaps, it can be charged via USB too. The camera will be available in three colors silver, black and the unusually bright green.

The Sanyo DMX-CG65 measures 67.7×34.5×100.3mm and weighs 170 grams. The camera goes on sale by late April in Japan for 50,000 Yen ($ 425).
