Samsung unveils affordable Galaxy M with Super AMOLED screen

by Gavril Mankoo

Samsung recently pulled the veil off its inexpensive mode to enjoying the aesthetic beauty of a super AMOLED with the Galaxy M device. Samsung’s flagship phones including the Galaxy S II have been known to burn holes in pockets world-wide, and the South Korean manufacturer decided to develop a more affordable option, complete with a four-inch Super AMOLED screen. The processor tends to disappoint though, with the Galaxy M sporting a single-core 1GHz processor and a three megapixel camera. Sporting Android Gingerbread and measuring 10mm, the phone packs a TV tuner and uses a metal back, instead of the plastic back we’re all too used to seeing on Galaxy phones! Priced at a meager $500, this phone’s an affordable way to go Super AMOLED!
