Samsung Louvre B7610 is the Omnia Pro!

by Gareth Mankoo

Now that’s what I call a pleasant surprise. The Samsung Omnia Pro that was expected to be out sometime later this year has evidently turned out to be none other than the heavily leaked, Samsung Louvre B7610. The spec sheet is an eye scorcher, with features like the switching capability between the media centric UI and the Pro version. The media specs make up for quite a bit of marvel with a 5.1 megapixel camera, TV-Out to enjoy your video catches, DivX/WMV/H.264 support and FM. As far as the hardware is concerned, the Omnia Pro has the backing of a powerful 800 MHz CPU, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, 1 GB internal memory and a microSDHC card slot that can accommodate 32 GB.

The Samsung Louvre B7610 a.k.a. Omnia Pro is expected to be released on August 2009 for €500 (~$693).
