Samsung Galaxy S 2011 Edition is headed to Russia

The much awaited Samsung Galaxy S 2 will be hitting stores across the globe in a couple of weeks. But Samsung is working to fill the void between the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S 2 with an the Galaxy S 2011 Edition. The new phone will be running Android ver 2.3 Gingerbread and will be powered by an overclocked processor at 1.4 Ghz. The battery will be bumped to 1650 mAh but the screen will remain the same. The phone might have 2 Gigs of RAM along with the 8, 16 or 32 gigs of internal storage. The light version of the Galaxy S 2 if you would want to call it will be available by May in Russia for 22,000 Rubles ($ 780).
