Samsung Galaxy Nexus hits UK store shelves

Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Nexus, finally hit store shelves in the United Kingdom today. The first Ice Cream Sandwich phone by Samsung as well as Google, the phone will first begin selling at Phones4u at Oxford Street, London, with the first 100 customers being given a 250GBP voucher for movies, music and content downloads on the phone. Packing a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280×720), HSPA+ connectivity, 5MP camera with full HD video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and 1750mAh battery, the Galaxy Nexus will be available in 16 or 32GB internal memory.
