Samsung unveils two ultra-thin ultra-clear tablets, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4

Samsung seems to hate the ideology that small is big. The South Korean manufacturer has always been a fan of big colorful displays and has unleashed two more devices with one of these. Called the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4, these tablets are unlike any Samsung has ever unveiled before, particularly because of the super thin chassis (6.6mm) they come nestled in. both the devices come with a crystal clear Super AMOLED display panel and support WQXGA (2560×1600) along with 90% of Adobe RGB color coverage, 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio as well as two display modes, namely AMOLED Cinema and AMOLED Photo!

As if all of that isn’t enough to already have you reach for your credit card, Samsung decided to pack these tablets with more. Both of these come with perforated backs reminiscent of the company’s flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5. The devices will come with either the Exynos 5 Octa or Snapdragon 800 processor and will also include 3GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat on board. Too keep the shutterbugs happy, Samsung has included an 8 megapixel main camera and 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity is made easy with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and an infrared port for universal remote control. The tablets have up to 32GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. While the 10.5-inch model will come with the price tag of $499, the 8.4-inch costs $399.
