Samsung Portable UV Sterilizer with Wireless Charging can Banish 99% of Bacteria and Germs

The global anxiety about Covid-19 has reached extraordinary new heights and now personal hygiene is more important than ever. To help combat the spread of bacteria and germs, Samsung today announced a new UV Sterilizer with Wireless Charging. With the new Samsung UV Sterilizer we will be able to quickly disinfect our smartphone, earbuds and glasses, in just 10 minutes, wherever we are.

The new Samsung UV Sterilizer effectively kills up to 99% of bacteria and germs, including E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans, according to tests done by two independent test and certification institutes, Intertek and SGS. Samsung has designed it to fit a variety of device sizes so we can sterilize many of the products we use the most.

The UV Sterilizer features dual UV lights that sterilize both the top and bottom surface of items that are placed inside and boasts a sleek and minimal design. The inside measurements of the UV Sterilizer are 196 x 96 x 33 mm. The UV Sterilizer is easy to use, with a single button that turns on or off the UV function (Green light indicates UV Sterilizer is turned on). 

For an added safety, Samsung UV Sterilizer with Wireless Charging automatically turns off after 10 minutes. The UV Sterilizer can also wirelessly charge your device at the same time so when you pick up your device, you can rest assured it is disinfected, charged and ready to use. Charging does not stop when the UV Sterilizer turns off. Charging capabilities are limited to Samsung or other brand mobile devices that support Qi wireless charging.
